MAJOR OBSTACLES HAVE BEEN OVERCOME
I want to thank all our supporters that have made it possible for us to do the impossible.
A year ago, I was ousted from the organization that I am not allowed to name, the organization that I founded in 1977 and built up over 45 years to become the most effective marine conservation movement on the planet.
Became, but no more. From being an in-their-face, no nonsense, controversial and effective movement, it has now been compromised into a complacent, mediocre, picture-taking and ocean-posing organization, whose priority has become the suing of other organizations that bear the same name, but who wish to remain loyal to the original objectives and strategies, like actually saving whales, dolphins, sharks, seals, turtles and fishes.
Our response to being ousted was the immediate establishment of the Captain Paul Watson Foundation and Neptune’s Navy. We do not need the name, the flag or the logos that were taken from us. All we need is the loyalty, passion and courage of our long-time supporters who have not been fooled by the charade presently being marketed like some sort of feel-good commodity through the sale of merchandise and photo opportunities.
Since last summer we have acquired our U.S. Federal tax exemption as a conservation organization, and we now have Foundation chapters in Australia, the United Kingdom, Spain and Italy and working with our loyal SS allies in France and Brazil. I was sidelined in June of 2022 from the US organization and illegally dismissed at the end of August by the Global organization.
They have the list of supporters and the assets; they have the ships.
We had nothing. But not for long. Thanks to John Paul DeJoria, we secured our first ship, and that ship is now in mint condition and ready to sail. Loyal veteran crewmembers stepped forward to make the ship ready and to crew it for campaigns. Loyal land supporters stepped forward to organize land support groups in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Europe. Loyal contributors stepped forward to donate to our resurrection.
The groups that continue to support us, the groups I cannot name, in France, Brazil, U.K. and Hungary have stepped forward to renounce the change in priorities set by the mutineers who betrayed us.
As a result, France is being sued, the U.K. and Brazil are being threatened with lawsuits and the Captain Paul Watson Foundation and myself, are being sued by this faction that has taken control and is now seeking to cancel us and to erase us from the history.
These lawsuits are obstacles, and we will defend ourselves, but the important thing is that all their efforts to shut us down have failed and they will not be able to prevent or obstruct our plans to defend and protect endangered Fin whales in the waters between Iceland and Greenland this summer.
During my lifetime, I never could have imagined that the organization and movement that I created would sue me and would attempt to sabotage a campaign to save whales.
Whatever they throw at us, we will deflect and we will defend ourselves, but beginning the first of June our priorities must be Kristján Loftsson and his gang of Cetacean serial killers.
