The Captain Paul Watson Foundation would like to introduce Mike Bennett as our official representative in the Sea of Cortez and the Vaquita Reserve. Mike is a resident of San Felipe, Mexico and very concerned about the lack of action and progress in the effort to defend and protect the remaining highly endangered Vaquita porpoise. 

Unless action is taken, the Vaquita is doomed to extinction. Monitoring and promises are not sufficient, and Mexico’s response has been inadequate. 

With Mike, the Captain Paul Watson Foundation has a boat, drones and equipment to search for and to remove illegal gill nets in the Vaquita Reserve.

Time to make waves in the Sea of Cortez once again.
