These two pictures perfectly illustrate the merciless, murderous, malevolent and monstrous reality of this pitiless, psychopathic and sociopathic on-going practice of a shamefully sadistic and repugnant culture.

The Grindadrap. Translated from old Nordic it literally means the “murder of whales.”

How does this ghoulishly gruesome pogrom of carnage, mutilation and destruction continue to exist in 2023?

Is Denmark content with their association with such medieval barbarity, of decapitated heads stuck onto poles and hooks, of children poking out the eyeballs of calves and the ripping of fetuses from the wombs of pregnant females?

Are the Danes and the Faroese proud of this atrocious atrocity? And for those who are not, how do you allow this vile depravity to continue in all its blood-spattered ugliness?

Like the biblical sinful city of Sodom, there are good people in the Faroes Islands. Some courageous and compassionate people who have dared to speak out against this horrific nightmare of a culture and it is because of them that the islands cannot be condemned absolutely. 

What the perverse whalers are doing is a gross violation of European laws and their pathetic excuse that they are exempted from this law is negated by those who hold Danish passports and by this entire Danish colony being bestowed with huge Danish and European subsidies.

As someone of Danish descent I am appalled and mortified, ashamed and repulsed by the depraved debauchery of the violent and abject cruelty that these whale killers indulge in under the guise of culture and tradition.

This senseless slaughter is an indelible stain on the Escutcheon of the Danish State. When Marcellus stated to Hamlet that something is rotten in Denmark he was referring to deceit, corruption and evil. The putrid stench that continues to rise from the malodorous blood-soaked beaches of this remote collection of scenic rocks in the North Atlantic undermines the moral legitimacy of the entire Danish nation.

Every Grind drives a spike of pain into the hearts of compassionate people everywhere and millions look upon this foetid place as a northern archipelago of unimaginable suffering, peopled by sadistic blood drenched hominid monsters who dare to call themselves Christians as they wallow in blood and gore, amidst the screams of innocent self-aware, socially complex intelligent sentient beings.
