Introducing Simone Eisenbeiss, Ship Artist

My name is Simone Eisenbeiss and I am from Switzerland. I discovered animal conservation as a child from my mother who has dedicated her life to saving animals from horrible conditions around world.

I have had an unbreakable connection with animals since I was a toddler, and this unspoken language between two species is the inspiration for my art. Art has always been central to my life, but I never thought that it would have such a strong impact on other people.

From a young age I have been involved with direct action organizations helping animals as well as child victims of war, abuse and exploitation.

I chose to study medicine in university because I wanted to help the world when I finished my degree, but during school I barely had time to express myself through art.

Now, I use my art to focus on the light and darkness of the world that I have witnessed through my volunteer experiences and express it in my own Surrealistic style.

The effect that art has on people’s lives is fascinating and it has become my duty to speak up for the voiceless on our planet.

I joined Neptunes Navy to be a part of a larger paradigm shift in our world. Paul’s understanding of the equality of species and his direct action approach inspired me to be where I am today.

Paul has evolved from a role model in my young age to a good friend and I am excited to be on the John Paul DeJoria ship for Operation Paiakan. By fusing my art with our campaign, we are fighting with passion and creativity to protect our Ocean.

No matter where we live or what language we speak, art touches our souls and has the power to change the world.

While on campaign, I will be creating unique animal designs on Nautical Charts that will also include the route of the ship and Captain notes.

For the Voiceless,

Simone
