THE DEATH OF TOKITAE
SUSPICIOUS COINCIDENCES OR ?????
There is something very, very fishy about the timing of the death of Tokitae
In 2022, the Miami Seaquarium was cited with numerous violations by the Fire Marshall and the Building Inspector. The facility was ordered to make the repairs. The condition of the pool where Tokitae was being held was deplorable.
At the same time the U.S. government ordered that Tokitae could not be exhibited for profit due to the fact that the pod that she originated from is endangered. This immediately made Tokitae a financial liability for Dolphin Company owner Eduardo Albor. From money making aquatic star to welfare whale overnight and Albor was forced to provide the welfare. He could not sell or exhibit Tokitae, he could not kill her or…….
In 2022, Florida Real Estate Developer Pritam Singh, the man who engineered the hostile takeover of Sea Shepherd and ousted me from the Board, publicly stated he would invest one million dollars into caring for Tokitae. I have not seen an accounting, but I have not seen any evidence of pool or infrastructure improvements either. How much of that million did he spend and on what?
Eduardo Albor could certainly have constructed a larger and healthier pool for Tokitae. He had both the money and the time, yet he did nothing.
They said every effort would be made for her health and well-being. That was simply not true. Questions were not allowed to be asked and independent observers were not given access.
In October 2022, the Miami Seaquarium asked for an extension for the repairs.
On April 17th, 2023 the Park without explanation withdrew their extension and the Miami Seaquarium was given 120 days to complete the repairs from the date of April 19th, 2023.
This meant the repairs had to be completed by August 17th, 2023.
The repairs were not completed meaning substantial fines.
The very next day, Tokitae died on August 18th, 2023. There does not appear to have been an autopsy performed – even more suspicious. Well it could be a coincidence I suppose.
Looks like there may not be any fines. Not surprising. Also not confirmed that Tokitae’s skeleton may go to a University in Georgia. Could be a rumor. Would be interesting to know if that was a possible financial transaction because if not, why would a decision to return Tokitae’s remains to the Pacific Northwest at the request of the Lummi Tribe not be honoured. We shall see.
We must not forget that Eduardo Albor is the most notorious dolphin slave owner on the planet, that he owns and operations 23 dolphins prisons around the world and his bottom line is profit. Also remember from the day that they announced that Tokitae would be free and taken to a sea pen on the West Coast, not a single government permit, local, State or Federal was ever applied for.
The condition of the pool when she died was deplorable, dirty with algae and flaking pain chips, the support beams underneath were rotting with rust and cracked and crumbling concrete.
This appears to have been a charade to buy time and to make the trio of rich angels appear to be motivated by compassion and kindness.
There needs to be a complete in-depth investigation into this entire sordid affair.
The death of Tokitae is a tragedy and her death sentence appears to be issued on the day she stopped making money for her master.
