RAGE AGAINST THE WHALE KILLING MACHINES
September 14, 2023
It is with great revulsion and anger that we are forced to endure the sadistically perverse and merciless crimes of Kristjián Loftsson and his gang of murdering thugs on his two killer ships the Hvalur 8 and Hvalur 9.
We were ready to take this modern-day obsessive whale killing fiend on in June when the Icelandic Minister of Fisheries imposed a temporary ban on whaling until August 31st.
We were actually deluded into thinking that a politician would actually do something and would follow through. I’m sure her intentions were honest, but like any politician in power, they are inclined to bow down to the wealthy and the influentia,l and Kristjián Loftsson is the wealthiest and most influential businessman in Iceland.
Unfortunately, the summer ended with our ship unable to depart after Denmark forced our flag state Jamaica to strike our flag.
Although we have a land crew in Iceland now and despite the fact that Anahita Babaei and Ellissa Biou stopped the killing ship for 48 hours and Samuel Rostøl is now on his 14th day of a hunger strike, the harpoons are being fired and whales are dying in great agony despite the acceptance by the Icelandic government that the slaughter is grossly inhumane.
The Icelandic government had the opportunity to do the right thing and they failed, they capitulated to this wealthy and influential octogenarian. They have allowed him to spit in their faces as he scours and stalks the nearby seas for defenseless victims including pregnant females.
People ask me how do I feel about what is happening?
I feel a deep and furious frustration that we can’t be there with our ship to stop him. I feel an immense gnawing anger that we are unable to put to sea, to traverse the main to confront this little man with his diabolically deviant fetish for cetacide.
With the firing of every harpoon, I feel the pain, the anguish of death and the revulsion that this anthropocentric maniac is allowed to inflict such horror, that he is openly allowed to murder endangered Fin whales and to do so in absolute violation of international conservation law, totally thumbing his nose at the global moratorium on the killing of whales imposed in 1986 by the International Whaling Commission. (IWC)
I have heard the screams of dying whales, I have smelt and touched the hot steaming blood of a murdered whale pouring into the cold darkness of the sea, I have seen the light of intelligent self-awareness flicker and die in their eyes. I have seen enough of them die, that it has taken all my inner emotional strength to control my anger and my desire for retribution.
We cannot allow this murdering reprobate to continue to kill whales in 2024. He is demanding permits for another four years of slaughter and even though the majority of Icelanders oppose whaling, their weak-kneed, cowardly government refuses to uphold their obligations to the IWC and refuses to back the will of their own scientists and their own people.
My crew are feverously working on preparations to launch a new campaign in June 2024. The John Paul DeJoria is being refitted for a confrontation and we will bring two, possibly three more vessels with us to block the operations of Loftsson’s killing machines.
Towards this end we are recruiting crew for both land and sea, and reviving the Whale Wars in a concerted effort to achieve zero tolerance of whaling in 2024. It must be stopped and it will be stopped.
It has been a few years since I have asked for volunteers to risk their lives and freedom to defend and protect the great whales. That is what I am doing now, appealing to the passion and the courage of people willing to take that risk, willing to throw our bodies between the deadly harpoons and the gentle giants that they are intent upon destroying.
The ship is being prepared to be both offensive and defensive and we are organizing crew members to take a courageous stand to achieve the goal of absolute elimination of Loftsson’s ability to murder whales.
These obscene monstrous machines of merciless mayhem, mutilation and death must cease and we must be prepared to place our own bodies between the explosive harpoons and the clients we represent – the Fin whales, the 2nd largest and the fastest cetaceans in the sea. We need to impress upon Loftsson, Icelanders and the world that the slaughter of endangered species cannot be justified or condoned and must be stopped.
Come next June in 2024, we will be waiting in the waters off Iceland for those whale murdering machines to head out to sea and we will block them, we will stop them and we will demonstrate that there are humans willing to risk all to prevent the extermination of an endangered species at the hands of an obsessed murdering madman and his cruel harpoons.
The First Death of a Whale in Iceland at the Hands of Iceland’s Mad Captain Ahab – the mass cetacean-murdering Kristjian Loftsson.
Eight days into September and the bastard killed his first whale. Anahita and Elissa stopped him for 48 hours and he had one good weather day. The weather has turned today which will slow him down but there is another few weeks of danger for the whales.
It is frustrating that we cannot have the ship there, but we are working on reflagging and making preparations to return to Iceland at the beginning of the next season. We need to stop this madman from continuing his serial killing mass murder of endangered Fin whales.
Many thanks to the volunteers on the ground watching Loftsson’s every move. The majority of Icelanders oppose him, the Icelandic government opposes him but his wealth and influence keeps the deadly cruel harpoons violating the innocent bodies of the whales.
It is a perversion, a sickness and a crime and it needs to be stopped.
