After a year of no response and no explanation from Alex Cornelissen I will see him in court in Amsterdam on Wednesday, November 8th.

This is what Alex wrote in 2013 when I supported him being the CEO of Sea Shepherd Global.

It seems he’s had a change of heart. Give someone a little power and they may use it against you to further their own ambitions.

Alex’s words:

“Sea Shepherd is not an organisation, it’s a movement. A movement of dedicated people worldwide, all inspired by our Founder Captain Paul Watson. 

Our Founder and dear friend captain Paul Watson is currently unable to lead the organisation for legal and logistical reasons (..) as he will remain in international waters out of grasp of the corrupt government of Costa Rica and Japan . He understands the sacrifice he needs to make, (…) my respect for him is only bigger. I know few people that have given up so much in defense of life on the planet. 

I will be taking the role of Global executive director communicating with all independant entities around the world (…) and I intend to do exactly what Captain Watson would do. All of us in Sea Shepherd movement intend to do the same. We are all Sea Shepherd. We are all Paul Watson. “
