Peter Hammarstedt, along with Alex Cornelissen, Jeff Hansen and Geert Vons, are suing Sea Shepherd France claiming that they own and control the Sea Shepherd name and the Sea Shepherd logos that I created. They are demanding that Sea Shepherd France not have the right to use the name and logos because Sea Shepherd France refuses to submit to their demands to go mainstream and to be less confrontational and less controversial.

Sea Shepherd France rejects Sea Shepherd Global’s demands and is continuing to pursue the original strategies, tactics and objectives that made Sea Shepherd what it is.

What was once the Sea Shepherd movement that I intended it to be has now been torn apart by these four men and their desire for absolute control.

Yesterday, one of these traitors, Peter Hammarstedt, decided he would give a talk by zoom to students at the University of Renne in Brittany.

Sea Shepherd Brittany was not happy about this craven mutineer coming into their territory with his revisionist explanation of the hostile takeover of Sea Shepherd Global and their unlawful dismissal of Lamya Essemlali and myself from the Sea Shepherd Global Board. They had questions that Peter refused to answer and when pressed, his talk was over. 

Peter Hammarstedt is not welcome in France and he is an embarrassment to the Sea Shepherd movement and what it has stood for until he and his three accomplices decided that the original vision was not compatible with their job security.

I would like to thank the loyal Sea Shepherd France members in Brittany who took the time to attend the lecture where they expressed their disdain for the treachery and deceit by this man who betrayed the Sea Shepherd movement.
