Self-Appointed Gate Keepers

Self-Appointed Gate Keepers

January 13, 2024

Once there were six,

Until four exposed their bag of tricks,

Ousting the other two,

Giving them the eighty-six.

They spat on the movement,

Said it needed improvement,

Their autocratic solution

A demand for dissolution.

They set the wheels in motion,

To betray the defenders of the Ocean,

Demanding total control

Authority over the whole,

Denigrating what was good,

For service to their own hood,

Betraying their comrades,

Posting deceitful ads

Pretending to be what they are not,

Hiding the fact that they’ve been bought,

Conspiring in the Lowlands,

Hiding the blood on their hands,

Standing by as seals die,

Their hearts black, their eyes dry,

Glorified garbage pickers on the beaches,

A fitting cover for such leeches.

Taking what they never owned,

Deciding who will be disowned,

Plagiaristic tattooed trolls

Now pursuing mainstream goals.

Thus, four decades betrayed,

All supporters have been played,

Shadows dancing on the waves,

Farley and Bob turning in their graves.

Sailors who have fallen from grace,

Now in charge of empty space,

Mutineers forever tainted,

Shame upon their faces painted.
