The Whale-Killing, Enabling Nation of Jamaica is an Embarrassment to Their Pirate Heritage

The Whale-Killing, Enabling Nation of Jamaica is an Embarrassment to Their Pirate Heritage

Jamaica and Denmark. These slain whales are also on you.

Kristjian Loftsson, the 80 year old Icelandic Captain Ahab, controls the Icelandic government and he get what he wants, and he wants to kill endangered Fin whales. Not for the money: he has not made a profit in years. He does it for the sheer joy of killing. To the whales, he is Ted Bundy, a serial killer, a cetacean serial killer.

It was our plan to return to Iceland at the end of August to be there in anticipation of Loftsson’s returning to whale killing when the temporary ban ended.

We should be there, and the reason we are not is that we can’t put to sea without a flag, and we don’t have a flag because Denmark pressured Jamaica to remove the flag.

Jamaica knew about our campaigns and our aggressive interventions, and they had no problem with it until Denmark demanded that our Jamaican flag be struck on July 28th, a week after we disrupted a Faroese death drive of a pod of pilot whales.

Thanks to the craven bureaucracy of Jamaica and shameful support of the killing of pilot whales by Denmark, we have not been able to return to Icelandic waters.

The slaughter was delayed for 48 hours by two courageous women who occupied the crows nest of both the Hvalur 8 and Hvalur 9, and the weather has also been limiting.

The Captain Paul Watson Foundation on the ground has been documenting every whale landed and their report of of one whale that had harpooned a whale twice led to a temporary shut-down of one of the harpoon boats.

The whale killing fiend and his gang of butchering thugs have killed 19 endangered Fin whales plus an unborn calf and a whale that was harpooned and escaped. So far, 21 victims have fallen to this monster.

We will have a new flag soon and we will be ready to return in June 2024 if Loftsson gets the extended four year permit he is demanding from a compliant Icelandic government.

And if he does, we will be there and we will do what needs to be done to silence his murderous harpoons.

Let’s throw everything we have and everything we can get at Loftsson and his two killing ships in June 2024.

Despite all the obstacles and the potential dangers, my crew and I will be there, and we will be ready for the final confrontation with this outlaw whaler Kristjian Loftsson, regardless of the consequences.
